Curriculum

Year One

The Five Sciences of the Qur’an

Students study the opening section of Fawz al-Kabīr, exploring the foundational sciences required for understanding the Qur’an and its interpretation.

Year Two

Advanced Hermeneutics

Students continue through the remaining chapters of Fawz al-Kabīr, examining language, interpretation, methodology, and the principles used by scholars to derive meaning from revelation.

Tuition

$100 CAD per month

Students may begin at any time and continue through the program as part of an ongoing course of study.

Overview

This program introduces students to the principles of Qur’anic interpretation and the major sciences that shape the understanding of revelation. Through guided study, discussion, and close reading of classical texts, students develop a deeper understanding of how Muslim scholars have approached the Qur’an throughout history.

Certification

Students who successfully complete the program may receive a Certificate of Completion. Qualified students who complete the required course of study and demonstrate competency may be considered for ijāzah at the discretion of the instructor.
